After watching the Chilean documentary "The Mole Agent"

Line of Events

Charles, a retired man, takes on a new lease on life when he becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home after answering a private investigator’s ad. He says: "The Mole Agent" is powerful because it makes people across all ages, races, and genders feel something remarkably similar, and I describe that feeling in a very understated way, "I need to call my mom".

Loved the remake of El agente topo (2020)!

In our show, we tried to do something similar in tone: basically, does our show contribute to that feeling of wanting to call our moms?. I was expecting someone who goes undercover, his crazy antics & instead we get a series about a man who not only helped others, but also helped himself recover from the loss of his wife.

You wanted to see how it worked – who stole it etc

I got really emotional at some parts because of the corny lines, the way the topics were handled – like the resident with memory problems. However, it wasn’t something serious enough to make you bored or bored through the episodes, but it kept you watching the series.

The acting was great, the cinematography & locations were well done

I really hope they do another season & bring a great mix of laughs, emotions, script, location and acting like they did in Charles’ next detective style adventures.
